Tuition matching service

Tuition Kaki helps collect tuition requests, review tutor suitability, coordinate assignment opportunities, prepare shortlists, and support confirmed matches. Submitting a request or registering as a tutor does not guarantee a match, assignment, acceptance, response time, teaching outcome, or income.

Parent and student responsibilities

Parents and students must provide accurate request details, communicate respectfully, review tutor options carefully, and confirm lesson arrangements before sharing sensitive information or making commitments. Budgets quoted by parents are treated as preferences and may affect tutor availability.

Tutor responsibilities

Tutors must provide accurate profile information, truthful academic and experience claims, valid contact details, and appropriate documents when requested. Tutors must not misrepresent qualifications, availability, rates, identity, or teaching experience.

Verification and profiles

Verification summaries and badges are based on available documents and internal review. They do not guarantee future tutor performance, conduct, or fit for every student. Tuition Kaki may reject, suspend, amend, or remove profiles that are incomplete, inaccurate, unsafe, or inconsistent with platform standards.

Payments and commission

When a match is confirmed, the parent must pay Tuition Kaki a commission equal to 50% of the scheduled tuition fees for the first four active weeks. This is calculated using the confirmed hourly rate, lesson duration, weekly frequency, four weeks, and a 50% commission rate. The commission is due before the first lesson or three calendar days after confirmation, whichever occurs first. The parent pays all remaining lesson fees directly to the tutor.

If the arrangement ends during those first four active weeks, Tuition Kaki will recalculate commission as 50% of the confirmed fees for lessons actually conducted. Payment reminders may be sent on the due date and 3, 7, 14, and 21 days afterward. Any refund, waiver, dispute, or write-off is assessed and recorded by Tuition Kaki according to the circumstances and available evidence.

Feedback and public use

Tuition Kaki may request private parent feedback after the first lesson and first month, and private tutor feedback after the first month. Feedback remains internal unless the author explicitly consents to publication and Tuition Kaki approves the exact quote. Feedback connected to an unresolved or private complaint will not be published.

Acceptable use

Users must not abuse the platform, scrape private data, bypass matching processes, harass other users, upload fraudulent documents, send spam, or use information obtained through Tuition Kaki for unrelated solicitation or harmful conduct.

Limitation

Tuition Kaki aims to operate carefully and fairly, but users remain responsible for their own decisions, communications, lesson arrangements, and commitments. The service may be updated, suspended, or changed where needed for safety, reliability, compliance, or operational reasons.
